Autism awareness training

The Autistic Minds community awareness talks began a few years ago and very quickly gained momentum. Lead by Rhys Jenkins, our community coordinator, the team deliver awareness talks, bespoke training and consultancy to a range of local and national businesses.

Recent talks we have delivered include:

• Welsh Rugby Union
• Level Playing Field
• Race Equality First
• Nationwide Swansea
• Welsh Water

Our talented team of autistic designers at the charity also work with companies to ensure their services and marketing materials are suitable for autistic clients. We are delighted to have worked with St David’s Cardiff on their Guide for Autistic Guests and the development of their calm and safe room. View the guide on the St David’s Cardiff website.

While we are able to offer a limited number of free 1-hour talks per year, our training involves a fee which is critical for us as a charity to be able to continue offering support and services. Some of our partners fundraise for the charity in order to cover the costs involved.
