Our Mission

PRESS RELEASE

Autistic Minds appoint Henry Field as our new CEO

Autistic Minds are so very excited to announce that we have appointed a new CEO for the charity.

14 years after founding the charity in 2010, our current CEO, Nadine Honeybone, has decided to step down from the CEO role. She says “It’s time for a new chapter for the charity. A new CEO to help grow the impact of this amazing organisation for the autistic and neurodiverse community that we serve. I feel so very proud of what we have already achieved together in what is just the beginning of our journey for real acceptance and inclusion of our community across society. Our team is unique and I am proud of every one of them, past and present, for their contribution to the difference we make. I fully support our new CEO and am excited for the whole team and the future they have together.”

Our new CEO, Henry Field, comes to us with a wealth of experience in equity, inclusion and diversity and is the perfect leader for this role.

Henry will be appointed as CEO of Autistic Minds on 28th October 2024.

Henry says :

“I’m beyond excited to be taking on this role, and thank Nadine and the Trustees for the trust they’ve put in me. Autistic Minds was there for me when I got my ADHD Diagnosis. To be able to use my experience to lead the charity moving forward, and offer the same support to the neurodiverse community, is an honour.”

Autistic Minds LIVE Cardiff 2022 Visitor Feedback

"Thank you, I have a son who has been newly diagnosed with ASD as a teenager and it is great to see how I can access more support. This has given me hope for his future."

"We had a fantastic experience exhibiting!"

Dan and Alex 2023

"I've not stopped waxing poetic about your event last year and how great it was run, attended and felt like an honest to god event. On more than one occasion, both Dan and I have been made to feel our attendance was a quota.
They roll us out with the 'look - we're inclusive!' banner. It's tedious. CAS 22 had such a family and community vibe - one I have not felt since!"

Alex Watts - Aspie World

“Excellent. Brilliant to have so many useful applicable organisations in one place. Everyone very approachable and friendly. Vast amount of options/advice available.”
