At Autistic Minds , we believe that everyone has the potential to create a better and more independent life for themselves.

What is the purpose of this programme?

To support individuals in the Caerphilly & RCT areas to develop or regain skills in areas such as Self-care, Benefits, accessing the community, Wellbeing, budgeting and using community resources

Who should go to this group?

  • People who want and need support to develop these skills
  • People who would like to learn new key skills that would benefit their daily lives
  • People who may be moving out of the family home in the hope of living independently
  • People who are regaining their independence
  • People who would like to maintain skills by developing a routine & structure in their daily lives

What is the time commitment?

  • 12 weeks in duration
  • 3 optional courses over a 3-month period
  • Once or twice weekly for 1 to 2 hours depending on you
